Important Aftercare Advice
Acrylic Enhancements and Shellac
"Your Nails are Jewels not tools"
It is important that you follow the aftercare to keep your nails looking their best and to prevent infection.
Do not pick, pull or bite your nails, this will cause damage to the enhancement/Shellac and your own nails. Damage to the nail can result in lifting, which is where the product lifts off the nail plate. This can leave the nail open to infection if dirt or moisture gets under the enhancement.
If you see any discolouration of the nail or is starts to feel sore then please contact me asap as the nail may need to removed and cleaned.
Do not attempt to remove the nails yourself as this will cause damage to your natural nail.
Be careful not to bash your nail as this will cause damage to your nail and will weaken the enhancement. Do not use your nails as tools to pick or pull at things, although they may feel strong they can be easily damaged.
When using strong chemicals such as bleach or undertaking jobs such as washing up or gardening, please wear gloves to protect your enhancements/Shellac
Certain products such as fake tan and nicotine can stain your nails, products such as sun tan lotions can also disolve the acrylic so beware of these.
If you have any concerns regarding your enhancements or Shellac then please contact me.
